BITEC Asphalt Primer 41 is a solvent-based asphalt primer with penetrating oils used to prepare substrates for BITEC built-up and modified bitumen roof membrane systems. It is applied by nap roller, brush or spray at 1/2 to 3/4 gallon per 100 square feet. The data sheet lists a VOC content of 450 g/L, a one-year shelf life, and 5-gallon pails.
