A double-leaf roof hatch custom-fabricated to the required size for installing or removing large equipment through the roof, in steel, aluminum or stainless steel, with BILCO noting that larger sizes may need aluminum for proper operation. The guide specification rates the covers for a 40 psf live load or 20 psf wind uplift. BILCO's size table states that thermally broken hatches are not available in a double-leaf design.
