A double-leaf automatic roof smoke vent built to limit outside noise in buildings such as concert halls and theaters, with 14 gauge galvannealed steel covers, dual EPDM gaskets and 4 in. mineral wool cover insulation, opened by gas springs when a UL listed fusible link melts. The guide specification states STC 50 and OITC 46 sound ratings and an ISO 140-18 rainfall sound rating of 37.5 dB, a UL listed vent, and covers and latch rated for 90 psf wind uplift. Standard steel sizes run from 48 in. x 48 in. to 72 in. x 72 in. and 66 in. x 144 in.
