Aluminum roof hatches whose cover and curb separate interior and exterior metal to reduce heat transfer and condensation, offered in ladder (S-50TB, E-50TB), dome (GS-50TB), ship-stair (NB-50TB), service-stair (L-50TB) and equipment (F-50TB) models. For the 36 in. x 30 in. Type S-50TB, the guide specification calls for an 11 gauge aluminum cover with 3 in. polyisocyanurate insulation (R-value 20.3), a 12 in. thermally broken aluminum curb with a 5-1/2 in. flange, and a cover rated for a 40 psf live load or 20 psf wind uplift.
