A shingle-over ridge vent combining the rigidity of a sectional vent with the fast installation of a roll, with a patented internal and external baffle system to block wind-driven rain and snow and nail/slot/center guides to align shingles and fasteners (hot-dipped collated galvanized ring-shank nails included). Per the manufacturer's sell sheet it prints a net free area of 12 in² per lineal foot, is 14 3/4 in. wide, 0.625 in. thick, and ships in 25 ft rolls. It carries Miami-Dade County approval and Florida Building Code approval (FL 7751). Benjamin Obdyke's ridge vent warranty is lifetime when installed with new shingles carrying a lifetime manufacturer warranty, or 50 years when the shingle warranty runs for a shorter term.
