A classic-style, shingle-over ridge vent with a flat back and a compression- resistant, low-profile design, installable by hand or with a pneumatic nail gun (hot-dipped collated galvanized ring-shank nails included). Per the manufacturer's sell sheet it prints a net free area of 13.5 in² per lineal foot, is 10 1/2 in. wide, 0.6 in. thick, and ships in 20 ft or 50 ft rolls. It carries Florida Building Code approval (FL 7751). Benjamin Obdyke's ridge vent warranty is lifetime when installed with new shingles carrying a lifetime manufacturer warranty, or 50 years when the shingle warranty runs for a shorter term.
