An extruded concrete slate-look roof tile with beveled edges and a smaller format, which Bartile says re-creates hand-hewn slate and offers the only interlocking turret tile on the slate market. The spec sheet prints nominal dimensions of 10 3/8 by 15 inches, about 122 pieces per square, a 12-inch exposure (10.5 inches staggered), a 3-inch minimum headlap and use on slopes greater than 2 inches per foot, with additional underlayment at 2 and 3 inches per foot. It prints weights of 11.5, 10.25 and 8 lbs "per sq." for its Super Duty, Standard and Ultralite weights without stating the area unit, ASTM E108 Class A fire, ASTM C67 freeze-thaw testing and "Class 3 Impact Resistance" without naming an impact test standard. The slate page states wind resistance up to 120 mph for every Bartile slate tile.
