A stock single-leaf roof hatch (model BRHU) in 11 gauge aluminum or 14 gauge galvanneal steel, in red oxide or high-reflectance white powder coat, sized 30 in. x 54 in. for ship stairs and 36 in. x 30 in. up to 36 in. x 96 in. for ladder and service-stair access. It has a gas spring with damper, an automatic hold-open arm, a single-wall curb with a railing-ready EZ tab counterflash, 1 in. polystyrene cover and 1 in. polyiso curb insulation (R-6), and a latch the page says was tested to 140 psf wind uplift; the cover carries a 40 psf live load. The product page prints Florida Product Approval and Miami-Dade County NOA 24-0904.09 (expiring May 25, 2027); the data sheet states the stainless steel version and some sizes are not Miami-Dade or Florida approved.
