A UL 793 listed automatic acoustical roof smoke vent for performing arts and similar buildings, in double and quad-leaf versions: AcousticMAX Z (model BSVZ, 12 gauge galvanneal steel, STC 50, OITC 47, ISO 140-18 rainfall rating 36.7 dB, total R-16.8) and AcousticMAX Y (model BSVY, 14 gauge galvanneal steel, STC 50, OITC 39, total R-12.6). Both use mineral wool with a sound mat in cover and double-wall curb, a black interior finish and a latch holding against 90 psf wind uplift, in sizes from 48 x 48 in. to 72 x 120 in. The data sheet lists FM 4430 among its certifications, while the product pages call FM approval optional and print its standard number differently.
