WeatherMaster HP-Granular is Atlas's premium self-adhering composite ice and water underlayment, an SBS-modified asphalt adhesive reinforced with a fiberglass mat under an aggregate surface that Atlas positions for slopes over 6:12, for use under asphalt shingles, tile, wood shake and slate at eaves, valleys or across the full deck. The data sheet gives a 36 in. x 65 ft. roll (195 sq. ft.), a 40 mil minimum thickness, a 45-day UV exposure, a 45 degrees F minimum bonding temperature and a non-peel selvage edge, and lists an ASTM E108 Class A or Class C fire rating depending on the roof covering.
