Atlas Summit 60 Synthetic Underlayment
Summit 60 is Atlas Roofing's lightweight woven-polypropylene synthetic roof underlayment with UV and water-resistive coatings, designed as a mechanically attached alternative to #15 asphalt-saturated felt and sold in 48-inch by 250-foot 10-square rolls. Miami-Dade NOA 22-0722.06 and Florida product approval FL21350-R5 (CREEK Technical Services) both evaluate it as an ASTM D8257 polymeric underlayment on the strength of PRI Construction Materials Technologies test reports. Exposure limits differ by document: Atlas markets 60-day UV resistance, FL21350-R5 limits roof-deck exposure to 30 days, and the NOA allows up to 90 days as a temporary roof. The Atlas data sheet also lists ASTM D6757 and ASTM E108 fire resistance among its codes and compliances, but neither designation appears in the data sheet's own tested-properties table, and both third-party evaluations state that fire classification is outside their scope.
