HighPoint slant back vents are Atlas's low-profile, roof-mounted static vents for open attics, placed just off the ridge and meant to work with soffit intake. The AL50 is aluminum and the GL50 galvanized steel with a round throat; both have a one-piece louvered base and throat. Atlas's product pages give 50 sq. in. of net free area (NFA), roof pitches from 3:12 to 12:12 and black, brown or weathered wood finishes for both, and state both are Florida Building Code approved.
