ScanRoof is ATAS International's scalloped, Northern European-style metal tile panel for steep slope roofs, installed horizontally from eave to ridge on a 2-inch integral Z purlin that allows air flow between panel and substrate, and light enough to go over an existing roof where local building codes allow. The product tab lists SKU SCP163 in 24-gauge metallic coated steel, 16-1/2-inch by 13-foot-2-inch tile coverage, smooth texture, 70% PVDF finish in 35 stock colors and a 3:12 minimum slope. ATAS pitches it against storms, hurricanes, damaging winds and driving rain, and it suits commercial and residential roofs and mansards.
