Monarch is ATAS International's batten-style metal roof panel with an integral batten, seam and lock and a formed vertical leg as an extra water barrier. A clip hooked over the leg allows for expansion, and the clips and fasteners are concealed by the batten of the next panel, so no caps, strips or seaming tools are needed and continuous lengths avoid cross seams. The product tab lists SKUs MRB080, MRB120 and MRB160 for 8-, 12- and 16-inch coverage with a 2-inch seam, a 4-foot minimum length, .032 to .050 aluminum, 24-gauge metallic coated or acrylic-coated 55% Al-Zn steel and copper options, smooth or stucco embossed texture, 70% PVDF finish in over 40 stock colors or anodized aluminum finishes, and a 2:12 minimum slope.
