ATA-Shield is ATAS International's self-adhering underlayment for use under metal roofing, made of an unreinforced polymer-modified bitumen adhered to the underside of a polymer-coated synthetic woven material, with a split release backing film. It is 45 mils thick and comes in rolls 3 ft wide by 72 ft long covering about 200 sq. ft. The spec data sheet lists ASTM D1970 results (including thermal stability at 240 F and nail sealability), ICC AC 48 low temperature flexibility, and up to 6 months UV exposure. It is considered a vapor barrier and must be installed above properly ventilated areas.
