A compression-free rooftop attachment point sold in 2000 and 3000 series: a G90 galvanized steel plate with countersunk screw holes and rolled edges, a 304 stainless steel bolt welded to the plate, a cover membrane of the same brand and color as the roof fused over it and a membrane separator welded on top, per the maker's home page, which says the anchor works with single-ply, bituminous and liquid-applied membranes and is engineered to ASCE 7 wind and seismic requirements. The maker's 20-year limited warranty covers the U-Anchor against defects in material and workmanship, is contingent on compliance with ASCE-7, ASTM D6630, its instructions and the membrane maker's specifications, and is limited to replacing defective product.
