Amerimax's Deck Ledger Flashing is an 8-foot moisture-protection flashing cap that fits over a ledger board and behind siding to protect a deck-to- house connection from water damage, listed in the company's product catalog and named "Deck Ledger Flashing Gap" on its current roofing-components page. It is offered in painted steel (white, Part No. 57028; brown, Part No. 5702819) and in gray plastic (Part No. 37028), the latter recommended for use with pressure-treated lumber and having slots for nailing; asphalt paper is called out for use between the metal version and pressure-treated lumber.
