Polyurea 550 is a 100 percent solids pure polyurea coating blending aliphatic and aromatic polymer technology, which the maker's product page describes as a roof coating for commercial and industrial roofing systems; its data sheet also lists containment, steel protection and tank uses. It is applied with heated plural-component equipment at a minimum of 5.0 gallons per 100 square feet (80 wet mils) and, per the data sheet, bonds to metal, single-ply roofs, wood and concrete without primer. The data sheet reports 2,800 psi tensile strength and 600 percent elongation (ASTM D2370), 0 g/L VOC and a 40-second dry time, in tan and dark gray, in 105-gallon kits.
