The PD50 is a pad-style snow guard with a taller, high-profile head sized for roofs with thick coverings such as cement tile or deep barrel tile. Its gusseted body has an 18" strap for mechanical fastening directly to the roof deck on new or existing slate, tile and shingle roofs, and is offered in Copper or Galvanized Steel. The specification sheet gives no printed holding-strength figure; the substrate must be verified to withstand the added retained snow load and layout is engineered per project.
