The PD30 is a low-profile, direct-to-deck pad-style snow guard for metal roofs, sized 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" with a riveted "fish head" design. It is installed by mechanical fastening, soldering (for copper or zinc) or adhesion, and is available in Copper, Lead-Coated Copper, Aluminum, Freedom Gray (tin-zinc coated copper) and Rheinzink. The manufacturer's specification sheet states the substrate must be verified to withstand the additional retained snow load and gives no printed holding-strength figure; layout is engineered per project via the manufacturer's SnowGuard Calculator.
