Optimum Rib is a lightweight exposed-fastener ribbed steel panel that Agway Metals describes as a popular profile for agricultural roofs and lists under its light weight cladding, metal roofing and residential lines. It gives 36 inches of coverage in 30 to 24 gauge steel (0.0135 to 0.0240 inch base steel), in lengths from 30 to 468 inches. The load table states that the steel conforms to ASTM A653 and that section properties follow CSA S136-07. Agway names Optimum Rib as one of the two profiles produced at its Drummondville, Quebec plant.
