Nail Strip is a concealed-fastener steel roof panel from Agway Metals that is fastened through a continuous nailing strip and snaps into the adjoining panel, so no seamer is required. It comes in two rib heights, NS25 (1 inch) and NS38 (1-1/2 inch), in 24 gauge (0.024 inch) steel, with panel widths from 10 inches up to 19.5 and 18.5 inches respectively and sheet lengths from 2 ft 6 in to 45 ft. The product sheet lists minimum slopes of 3/12 for NS25 and 1.5/12 for NS38, and calls for a single-skin installation over a solid substrate and waterproof membrane with fasteners at a maximum of 2 ft centres. Stiffening flutes are optional.
