AF-130 is Acrymax's standard 100% acrylic elastomeric roof coating, used as a protective coating or as a component of reinforced fluid-applied roof membrane systems, applied by brush, roller or spray at 1 to 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet per coat, two coats minimum. Its data sheet lists 66.9% solids by weight, VOC under 100 g/L, and on a 20 mil film 245% elongation at break and 230 psi tensile strength at 74 F (ASTM D2370). Acrymax calls for at least 15 mils dry film, 30 mils or more for waterproofing, and 40-45 mils when polyester reinforcement is used. It comes in white, aluminum gray and other colours in 1 and 5 gallon pails and 55-gallon drums; Acrymax also publishes AF-130QS (quick-set, for high humidity or heavy dew), AF-130HV (the high-viscosity, Kevlar-fibrated version) and AF-130R (with post-industrial recycled content) as variants of the same coating.
