PBU is an exposed-fastener roof and wall panel with 3/4 in. ribs on 6 in. centers across a 36 in. coverage width, installable directly over purlins or joists and recommended for roof slopes of 1:12 or greater. It is made in 26 gauge steel as standard (22, 24 and 29 gauge optional), smooth or embossed, in Galvalume Plus, Signature 200 or Signature 300. The data sheet lists UL 2218 Class 4, UL 580 Class 90 (with Class 30 and Class 60 constructions), ASTM E283 and ASTM E331 tests, a UES evaluation for seismic use and Florida approval FL# 42382.13. The sheet's UL 790 row refers to a separate Class A fire rating data sheet; its UL 263 row ties Class A to a non-combustible substrate and gives Class C over a combustible one.
