  • license: The City of Yukon's "How to Hire a Roofing Contractor" page states "Any person hired to perform work must have the required City of Yukon contractor registration (Building Contractor License) to do work within the City limits," and that roofing contractors "must be licensed by the State of Oklahoma Construction Industry Board."
Permit process note
The City's Roof Permit Application states "A separate application and permit are required for each individual building," that "All metal & flat roof permits are required to be submitted with the manufacture installation instructions for review. Allow for a 3 day turn around for review," and that "All permits must be posted on the garage/front of building where it can be viewed from the street before you start work on any roof."

The City's online "Request an Inspection" page lists "Roof Tear-Off" as an inspection category under Miscellaneous inspections, which may be requested by phone, fax, or the online request form.

Yukon's Code of Ordinances, Chapter 204, Article II, Sec. 204-27 ("Adoption of building code") adopts "the International Building Code, 2015 edition including appendix H, as published by the International Code Council ... as the Building Code of the City of Yukon, in the State of Oklahoma."
