Registration details

license: Contractors must be licensed and verified with the City of Trinidad before beginning a project; a Contractor's License application is submitted through the city's online permit portal alongside permit applications.

Permit process note

Building, Remodel, Sign, Roofing, Demolition, and Excavation permits, as well as Contractor's License applications, can be submitted through the City of Trinidad's online iWorq citizen portal. Excavation permits must instead be completed in person at the City Annex Building, 125 N. Animas Street.

The City of Trinidad follows the guidelines provided by the Colorado Chapter of the ICC and is based on the 2018 ICC code required by the City of Trinidad.
