Registration details
  • license: The Town of Silt requires licensing for all individuals and/or companies who do work in the town, except for work done by an owner on their own private residence, and lists a distinct "Roofing contractor license" classification. Applicants must submit a state certification, BEST card and/or ICC certification (minimum 70% passing score), and proof of commercial liability insurance of at least $100,000 per individual and $500,000 per accident, plus workers' compensation coverage. License fees are set annually by the town board.
