Registration details
- license: All contractors applying for permits as a legal applicant must hold an ICC Contractor Certification or a B.E.S.T. Test Contractor Certification Card (state-licensed electricians and plumbers are exempt). Roofing contractors need the ICC Contractors Certificate for Exam F14 National Standard Roofing Contractor, which allows roofing work on all buildings and structures with no limitations. Contractors must also provide a commercial general liability insurance certificate with minimum 1,000,000 dollar coverage listing the Routt County Board of County Commissioners as additional insured, plus proof of workers' compensation insurance.
