Permit process note
The Building Permits page states: "The forms listed below are needed when applying for a building permit ... Upon completion of the proper form, please deliver to the Town Office or send via email so that the form can be submitted. The permit fee will be assessed after the form is submitted." It further notes: "***Effective 2023: The Town of Red Cliff will be working directly with the state for electrical permitting/inspections. This permit can be obtained directly through the State's website." The Town's posted "Work Exempt From Permit" document (standard IBC Section 105.2 exemption list) does not list roof covering or re-roofing among the exempt work items for Building, so roof work is not called out as exempt, but no page found uses the word "roof" or "roofing" directly, so no roofing-specific boolean is recorded here.
