The town's SAFEbuilt Residential Asphalt Shingle Re-Roofing Requirements state the current code is the 2018 IRC, including ice and water shield from the eaves to 24 inches inside the warm wall, tear-off when two or more roof covering layers exist, drip edge on all edges, and double underlayment for pitches between 2:12 and 4:12.
