  • license: All contractors who do work in Idaho Springs must be licensed in Idaho Springs; the city publishes a list of currently licensed contractors. All commercial projects require a contractor who is licensed in Idaho Springs specifically.
Permit process note
Residential re-roofs are One Stop permits generally issued within 24 hours, with design criteria of 130 wind load, 60 psf ground and roof snow load, and Exposure C. All commercial roofs require a plan review. The permitting process begins at Idaho Springs City Hall, and One Stop permit applications can be submitted to [email protected].
