Registration details
- license: All contractors must be licensed with the city prior to pulling a permit. The city requires a copy of any state or ICC certifications as well as a current certificate of insurance; renewal is available to contractors licensed within the past two years.

Effective June 23, 2026, Glendale adopted the 2024 editions of the International Codes (including the IBC, IRC, IFC, IECC, IEBC, IFGC, IPC, IMC, ISPSC, and IPMC) plus the 2023 National Electrical Code and various NFPA standards.
