Permit process note
The city's Building Construction and Permitting page states that Euless does not require a permit for the replacement of residential roofing materials, while the roofing contractor must still meet the requirements of the adopted 2021 International Residential Code. The city is transitioning its permitting and planning submittals from its legacy process to a new online self-service portal, Cityworks.
Inspection requirements
The city's Residential Construction Information Packet specifies that roof felt must be properly installed with shedding and proper coverage of the decking, and that drip edge must be installed.
