Permit process note
Most development and construction within Dillon town limits requires a Town of Dillon Development Permit and, in most circumstances, a companion Summit County Building Permit and/or a Grading and Excavation Permit. The town states that a Development Permit application and issuance are required prior to submitting to Summit County for the Building Permit; Summit County has its own separate application process and fee schedule. Rooftop solar has its own town permit path. Roofing is not called out as its own town permit type; the building-permit side of a reroof runs through Summit County.
